On Saturday 2 July we got together at Lido Beachhouse Luzern for our Summer Fundraising action.
It was a perfect summer day: clear sky, nice temperature and the happy excitement of the holiday season approaching.
And that is how we welcome our invitees: with sunshine, good vibes and a refreshing drink.
Yelitza Bättig proudly shared about what we are doing in Puerto Ordaz – Venezuela with the Ludotheken initiative and the impact with the children and the community. And of course, about our most recent addition: the 3rd Ludothek, this time outside of the school and open for the broader community.
The rhythm and Latin flavor was added by Chamito Sound who brought us all, children and adults to the dance floor.
Another highlight of the evening was the raffle, with lots of cool prices. We were pretty lucky to have the support from different sponsors for the prices. We are very grateful to KMB cosmetics, Western Cape Wines, Swiss Re Foundation, Rigi Seilpark and many others.
We are very happy with the warm support and engagement received. It was a lovely evening and most importantly, with the proceedings from the event, we will be able to cover the operational expenses of the rest of the year. A success indeed! :)
We closed the party so excited, that started right away to brainstorm for the next one. And if you missed it this year, make sure you join us in 2023, it is going to be great!
